In August 2007, while visiting the Farm Progress Show in Decatur, Illinois, the concept for the first Super Auger system was dreamed up while looking at the massive unload augers of J&M Grain Carts.  A week later, while spec’ing out their new trailer, John Kleinheksel of Kleinheksel Farms in Holland, Michigan asked, “Can’t we get a bigger and faster unloading auger on this trailer?”  The rest is history.  Since that time, the Hensley Super Auger has been the dominant leader in unload speeds and pellet integrity among the other manufacturers.  While basic physics dictates how fast a product will unload based off of boom length, bin height, product you’re unloading, ambient temperature and humidity, etc., Hensley remains at the top.  With unload speeds ranging from 6,000 to 8,400 lbs. plus, our augers deliver the most product with the least amount of product damage.  Coupled with our industry leading Computerized Valve system, the Hensley Super Auger does not care what type of product you need to unload.  It will automatically regulate the floor auger speed while maintaining a constant Vertical/Discharge pressure, ensuring that ground hog feed, broiler pellets or even fuzzy cottonseed will unload as fast as possible.
